A year ago when I bought my camera, this blog started to become more picture heavy and is now to the point where I write almost nothing. Pictures tell the story now and you keep on coming back to see. I am toying with the idea of sharing more of our lives again and I wonder if I should?
I know what you mean. I wrote a post about losing Catherine but then didn't post it because I didn't know what good it would bring. I don't feel a need to expose myself and so sometimes I wonder why I even have a blog.....
ReplyDeleteI love your photo's but love even more to hear your thoughts and read your words. I know how you feel as well though, and don't really share my blog with many people. and SHAUNA!!! What happened to Catherine? My heart feels so heavy and I wonder what your family is going through? Please post it if you feel you want to share. We out here in blog land do actually care!!!
ReplyDeleteAlisha- Catherine is fine. Shauna was taking out the trash and Catherine snuck by her and was returned by a neighbor.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Natalie!!!! The way she said that made me think something really horrible happened! xoxox
ReplyDeleteYes, you definitely should write more often! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes Natalie. Why? Because 1. I love your candid posts and what you shared. 2. If you people cannot appreciate your honesty and devotion as a mother and judge you or whatever, then they need to go off and do something better with their time since they choose to come to YOUR blog.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way as Shauna about posting about the horrible dog incident. I am glad I did. Shit happens no matter how good of a mother you are.
Go for it! Do what you feel and what moves you at the moment!!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry Alisha. I literally "lost" Catherine as in she left our house and a neighbor returned her....so sad as a parent.
ReplyDeleteNatalie - I started looking at your blog when Shauna wasn't posting for a bit... and fell in love with your photos! I was just telling someone yesterday how you have such an amazing eye!
ReplyDeleteAnd Shauna FWIW - I still read your blog too although I stopped blogging because I didn't feel like I was providing the sort of beneficial content that I wanted to... It felt like one more thing I had to do and there wasn't enough value added for me to continue.
