Porter has wanted light up shoes since last year. I did not want to buy them for him because I think they are ugly. Today after we went to the New Children's Museum we went to Nordstrom. I was thinking that they would not have any light up shoes and I would just get him a new pair of Converse. Well they had them and this is what Porter came home with.
They only cost $69 and they are the last pair I will ever buy him.
ha ha! join the light shoe club!
ReplyDeleteI think athena's were 15.99 at walmart. I wanted to hold out too but at least they weren't character shoes...yet.
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome.
ReplyDeletePorter loves his shoes so I can't wait for him to show me these!
ReplyDeleteDid you justify the purchase because these are $69.99 Nordstrom light-ups? Oh well, I am sure he will get some serious play out of them. I shouldn't talk Henry is sleeping on a Spiderman pillow case tonight with a Batman blanket covering him.
I justify it because there are no cartoon characters on them, they do not have bright colors, I used the christmas money from his great grandma to buy them and Porter loves them. I think it is ridiculous that they cost that much.
ReplyDeleteParker is into black and red shoes, too, but so far we have been able to avoid any lights. At least Geox is a good brand for their feet, so maybe you can feel better about that part.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I like that you changed your comment thingy (I can comment now, but couldn't before since I didn't have an account). I like checking in on you guys!
Those shoes are LUMINOUS! My son has a pair of trainers that flash red like Night Rider.. (resigned sigh!)
