We found more things were missing on thursday. Stupid burglar took a cheep hedge trimmer but, left a 2k dollar camera lens that was right next to the mac. Anyway, I have a new computer now and need to move on from the incident. It hasn't been the most pleasant experience but, I can think of worse things that could happen. We have been spending a lot of time at home lately. Porter wasn't feeling well so he stayed home from school thurs and fri and we didn't leave the house on Saturday. We thought about going bowling on Saturday but, when we called around every place had an hour or more wait. Sunday came and we needed to get the kids out of the house so, we managed to get them out for a bike ride to the park.


Liesl has had her bike for almost two years now and she is finally ridding it around but, it is a little too small for her. We raised the seat and she does the best she can on it but, it is time for a bigger one.

Two days after this photo was taken on NYE, our house was broken into and one of the things taken was the new Mac Book Pro Jason has surprised me with for christmas. Another thing was my old laptop with with all the photos I hadn't backed up from mid November. Everything can be replaced except those photos. This is Porter's last day of winter break and instead of going out and having a fun day I don't want to leave my house. I have this irrational fear that if I leave someone is going to break in again, even though there is nothing left to steal.

I am still trying to process everything.  Seriously questioning my decision to eat meat.  My brother built the cage, killed the turkey, de-feathered it and gutted it.  I helped with the feathers but, that was the extent of my involvement.  A big thank you to Kim, Jeremy and Sara for allowing us to come over and show us what to do.
