Two days after this photo was taken on NYE, our house was broken into and one of the things taken was the new Mac Book Pro Jason has surprised me with for christmas. Another thing was my old laptop with with all the photos I hadn't backed up from mid November. Everything can be replaced except those photos. This is Porter's last day of winter break and instead of going out and having a fun day I don't want to leave my house. I have this irrational fear that if I leave someone is going to break in again, even though there is nothing left to steal.
I'm so sorry that happened Natalie. I can't imagine how devistated you feel. I would be so crushed. Remember that your children are watching how you react. They shouldn't be punished for the crime, although I'm sure it's hard to want to leave your house after something like that happens. I guess just be glad it didn't happen when you WERE home!? That would be even scarrier? I guess that is one more reason to keep our blogs updated with our photo's too!!! I'm so sorry!
