Up until a few weeks ago our kids had never seen snow before. I feel weird writing this but, I took the kids to Sea World to see snow for the first time. It almost feels like saying "I carried a watermelon". When I told the kids that we were going to see snow, Liesl ran and got a warm puffy jacket from her closet, size 2t, that still fits her. Why I have saved that jacket for all these years is crazy but, it still fits her! She ended up not wearing it when she found out that it was not going to be snowing. After the fun and a little unsatisfying experience at Sea World, both kids requested a trip to see real snow next year.
