Summer

Porter has two more weeks left of school before summer vacation. I plan on spending everyday of his short 6 week summer filled with a ton of fun!

In an effort to learn more about photography I decided to get out my dad's old Minolta srT101. I think going back and learning the basics has really helped me understand how to use my dslr. Here are a few of my favorite shots from film.

Children's Museum

I took the kids to the Children's Museum recently and it was such a mellow afternoon. If it is too busy there I have a hard time staying for more than an hour, but when it is empty I can stay much longer.

I can't believe Porter is 6 today and how lucky we are to have such a wonderful person in our family.

San Diego County Fair

On Father's Day we met my parents, sister and her family at the San Diego County Fair. I took the kids two years ago and they were excited to go again!

Liesl didn't like the corn on the corn dog, so I took it off and then she only had a few bites of the dog.
